Digital Video Biographies: My goal is to present each story in a beautifully crafted, multi-media video biographic DVD - the story and the information comes from the interviewee and my skill in giving them comfort and ease while in front of the camera, prodding them to relate the details of their history. Beyond the interview, I then incorporate my abilities to craft the story told into an engaging piece for all to enjoy and cherish for years to come. I take great pride in my work and the detail required to make it a top quality presentation. I truly honor my clients.

Process:
First, the interviewee will fill out a specialized questionnaire geared towards their life experience or agreed upon life aspect to be covered. Family members (when applicable) give input to specific stories they would like to have documented, in case those stories do not occur to the person being interviewed, as sometimes happens. From this input, an outline of specialized questions is crafted to ask during the taped interview.

Each taping session takes about 4.5 hours total - approximately 90 minutes is needed to set up camera, sound and lights and then another 90 minutes for the interview. More time per session tends to become exhausting for the interviewee, and we want them at their best. The details of this can be discussed further later.

At the time of the interview, any photographs and/or documents will be collected that are to be included in the piece. After the viewing of the video in the “proofing” stage, more images may then be provided, as applicable to topics covered. If the number of photos provided exceeds the originally agreed upon amount, a renegotiation of pricing may take place at this time.

Turnaround Time:
Approximately 4 to 6 weeks minimum is needed to edit the project, submitting to the client one proof cycle for reasonable corrections and/or changes. All input and/or changes need to be provided in one document. After the first meeting, each client is provided with an individual pricing outline. The packages are adjustable and we will come up with something to fit your budget and needs.

Payment:
25% deposit prior to interviewing
25% on the interview day
25% upon completion of the one proof cycle
Final 25% due upon delivery of the finished product

I sincerely look forward to discussing a project with you and genuinely hope that we may work together in creating a video retrospective!
